Whois Privacy Protection in Shared Web Hosting
If you order a shared web hosting plan from us, you’ll be able to activate Whois Privacy Protection for any of your domain names in case their extensions support this option. You can register/transfer a domain and add Whois Privacy Protection upon registration or you can enable the service for any of your domains at any time later via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The process is really easy – after you log in, you’ll need to visit the Registered Domains section where you will see a list of all the domain names that you have registered with our company. For each of them you will see an “Whois Privacy Protection” sign, which will inform you whether the service is active or not. By clicking it, you can either Whois Privacy Protect the domain, or you can turn off the service if it is currently activated.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you want to conceal the contact details for your domain name and you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company, you’ll be able to add our Whois Privacy Protection service either upon signup or at any moment later through your Hepsia Control Panel. The service is optional and can be added with several clicks of the mouse from the Control Panel’s Registered Domains section where all the domains that you have registered through us will be listed alphabetically. You can activate Whois Privacy Protection for any of the extensions that support this service by simply clicking the “Whois Privacy Protection” sign to the right of each domain. In the very same way, you can also renew the service or deactivate it – in case you would like to transfer a domain to a different registrar company and you need the actual email account associated with the domain to be visible.
